Everything Bowl is a Four-Week Handbuilding intensive focused on bowls made from textured slabs. We will be exploring bowls based on cylinder and truncated cone forms, small bowls, large bowls, short bowls, tall bowls, stacking bowls, and nesting bowls. This is a class for every level, as I will start with the basics, from clay-handling to shaping, teaching everything I know about how to make and keep slab-made bowls round. There is something for seasoned potters, too, a deep dive into the meditative, poetic repetition that is at the heart of the potter’s practice.
Scheduled live demonstrations will be on Tuesday evenings, June 2025, at 5pm Pacific Time, with lots of extra drop-in demos and bonus content throughout the month. All of the content will be kept in the forum for participants to peruse as they want, on their own schedule.
